I had the opportunity recently to get out and take some photos with my good ol' film SLR. Yup folks, an old schooler. I was born and raised learning about photography the old fashioned way - honestly, it was when I first fell in love with photography, and I am a sentimental soul.
The immediate nature of digital is fantastic and one of my favorite features of modern photography, but there's more forthought and careful execution of film photography - you just can't look at the little screen and see how you did. :-)
My passion for statues got some juice the other day and got to take some photos of my two favorites in town here. Such majestic beauty!
